Converting meters (m) to feet and inches
Converting from feet and inches to meters is useful if you're working with different units for things like height, length, and distance.
To convert meters to feet and inches you can first multiply your meters by 3.28084 to get feet and inches in decimal format. The "integer" part is the number of feet and then everything after the decimal (the fractional part) can be mulitplied by 12 to get the number of inches.
For example, imagine you have to convert from 1.75 meters to feet and inches:
1.75 m x 3.28084 = 5.74147 feet
0.74147 x 12 = 8.89764 inches
And so you end up with: 5 feet 9 inches (rounded up)
